The first 9 holes of Maleny Golf Course opened today. It was a great turn out that was represented by local, state and federal officials, superintendents of other clubs and the local community. You’re invited to book in to any of their weekly competition games during the week and on Saturday mornings. The club is searching for more women competitors to enter the Ladies Day competitions and if you have spare time the golf club is looking for volunteers that are able to donate 4 hours of their time on any given day to assist with organising competitions. Cloudwalk is partnering with Maleny Golf Club to promote golf in Maleny and is offering a 5 year membership which applies to one person per sale on the first 5 land or house sales after 1 June 2015.
The Maleny Golf Club was established in 2002 and currently has 435 members. The course was designed by nationally acclaimed golf course designer Graham Papworth and on completion will be on par with many championship courses in Australia.
The first 9 holes are due for completion in June (2015) with the second nine holes due to be completed progressively in 2016. An onsite permanent club house is under design which the club proposes to construct following the completion of the 18 holes.

Maleny Golf Club is opening soon
Our residents and visitors will be pleased to know that Stage 2 of the Maleny Riverside Boardwalk project is now complete. Access via Cloudwalk Estate through to town centre has been granted. Cloudwalk have recently completed a 1.2m pathway link to connect with the boardwalk network path that provides access to either the town centre or Maleny Community Precinct which includes the Maleny Golf Club. Ultimately the pathway network will link other trail networks to become the Maleny Trail.
